DESCRIPTION:Florida Caverns State Park and the Florida Park Service teamed up with Visit Florida and the Welcome Center to bring the rangers there for a day of meet-and-greet with the public. They’ll be sharing information with travelers about what park amenities are available in the area of Florida they’ll be visiting. Rangers from Three Rivers State Park near Sneads\, Florida Caverns at Marianna\, Falling Waters in Chipley\, and Ponce de Leon Springs State Parkwill be among the participants.\n\n\nThe visit will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the rangers will be manning interpretive displays\, handing out literature and encouraging people to “enjoy the sunshine while they’re in the sunshine state\,” says Florida Caverns State Park Service Specialist Kelly Banta.\n\n\n\n\nThey’ll also give children some modest Florida souvenirs and\, as always\, Welcome Center staff will offer visitors orange juice and grapefruit to enjoy while they’re at the center.\n\n
