Don’t Miss Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

The Pulitzer Prize drama Cat on a Hot Tin Roof comes to the Chipola College Theatre! Set in the Mississippi Delta plantation home of Big Daddy Pollitt, Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy’s family. Brick, an alcoholic ex-football player, drinks his days away and resists the affections of his wife, Maggie “the Cat”. His reunion with his father, Big Daddy, who is dying of cancer, jogs a host of memories and revelations for both father and son. This performance features several recurring motifs, such as social mores, greed, superficiality, deception, decay, sexual desire, repression, and death.  This production is for mature audiences and contains adult content.
